The South Australian Scoliosis Service is for patients of all ages, different stages, and types of scoliosis, and welcomes referrals for children, adolescents and adults.

When to Refer

If you suspect, or imaging confirms, a scoliosis

in a growing child or adolescent,
in older patients where pain or degeneration is present

How to Refer

Refer the patient for AP and Lateral thoracic and lumbar x-rays, then submit the details via the form below. No referral is necessary for our non-surgical services, surgical consultation will require a referral by a GP.

Patients will be fast tracked to early appointments and given options for appropriate treatment. Full reports will be provided to referring GPs
